Maintenance Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Claw Hammer;
- Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy;
- Diagnose and take appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards;
- Complete grounds work which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas;
- Working overtime when needed;
- Monitors, schedules, and documents preventive maintenance on equipment;
- Replacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers);
- Health Care Reimbursement Account;
- Conducts Move in and Move out inspections;
- Builds or modifies equipment from engineered drawings;
- Assists in maintaining grounds;
- Hydraulic systems analysis and repair;
- Provide excellent customer service to residents;
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned;
- Identifying improvement opportunities on our equipment and automation.
Requirements:
- Honest and able to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Rotary equipment such as rotary press or filler;
- Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic skills including troubleshooting;
- AC and DC variable speed drives;
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and P&ID;
- Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment;
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with many different people at various levels within the organization;
- You love a challenge and want to do well while doing good;
- Perform minor electrical and plumbing maintenance;
- Own/provide your own basic hand tools;
- Familiar with reading and interpreting documents, schematics and blueprints;

- Prior experience programming PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) software;
- Minimum of 1-year maintenance experience in a manufacturing industry.
