Repair and Maintenance Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in accident, injury, and illness prevention activities such as job safety analysis;
- Maintain housekeeping in work area;
- Bring health and safety issues, unsafe acts, and safety suggestions to management’s attention;
- Know and follow safety procedures and rules including compliance requirements to ensure a safe work environment;
- Maintain health and safety equipment in good working order.
Requirements:
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified (preferably in the restaurant industry);
- This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing;
- Proficient computer skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds;
- Familiarity with tools ranging from common hand to power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, diagnostic and test equipment tools);
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
