Entry level Maintenance Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Entry level Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Trouble shoot and maintain Box printing ink jet printing equipment within the plant (Preference to Fox Jet/ Video Jet Brands);
- Perform preventative maintenance on facility printer equipment;
- Troubleshoot production printing equipment;
- Contractor Support;
- Installation of new printer equipment;
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment;
- Support other Maintenance Staff;
- Basic Computer skills with MS office and windows;
- Data entry;
- Communicating with corporate packaging group in South Carolina facility.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems;
- Must be able to use basic hand tools;
- High school graduate or GED equivalent;
- Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures;
- Use variety of hand tools;
- Ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting;
- Ability to validate key equipment to support production quality;
- 1-2 years of experience in similar activities;
- Flexibility (Some on-call availability is required.);
- Willingness to learn;
- Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle (mileage and vehicle allowance provided);
- Positive attitude;
- Strong verbal, and customer service communications are essential;
- Team player;
- High school degree.
