Our company is looking for a Epidemiologist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct, review and evaluate epidemiological studies and scientific literature related to specific topics in environmental and occupational health;
  • Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen’s terms, both verbally and in writing;
  • Responsible for retention and development of client relationships;
  • Perform biostatistical and other mathematical analyses;
  • Support conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedings;
  • Evaluate claims raised in various types of toxic tort or personal injury litigation;
  • Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groups;
  • Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Public speaking experience a plus;
  • Knowledge of regulatory medical and/or environmental guidelines a plus;
  • The ability to remain focused when dealing with ambiguity;
  • Excellent quantitative, statistical and study design skills;
  • REQUIRED Master’s Degreein Public Health, Statistics or Epidemiology, PhD a plus;
  • Must have a minimum of seven years of post-academic work experience;
  • Experience working with statistical software (SPSS, SAS, etc.).
