Our company is looking for a Epidemiologist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct, review and evaluate epidemiological studies and scientific literature related to specific topics in environmental and occupational health;
- Provide technical findings and conclusions in laymen’s terms, both verbally and in writing;
- Responsible for retention and development of client relationships;
- Perform biostatistical and other mathematical analyses;
- Support conclusions by appropriate testimony in legal proceedings;
- Evaluate claims raised in various types of toxic tort or personal injury litigation;
- Deliver professional presentations, develop client relationships and promote self to client groups;
- Conduct unbiased investigations for various types of clients.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Public speaking experience a plus;
- Knowledge of regulatory medical and/or environmental guidelines a plus;
- The ability to remain focused when dealing with ambiguity;
- Excellent quantitative, statistical and study design skills;
- REQUIRED Master’s Degreein Public Health, Statistics or Epidemiology, PhD a plus;
- Must have a minimum of seven years of post-academic work experience;
- Experience working with statistical software (SPSS, SAS, etc.).
