- Responsible for the planning and implementation of public events to promote departments (Food Fight, Room Selection, etc.).
Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and some weekends are required;
- Strong writing skills with solid experience in delivering messages to diverse audiences;
- Solid knowledge of technologies (desktop publishing, graphic software, presentational software);
- Strong editing skills;
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in public information campaigns, branding, and marketing;
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience required;
- Proven ability to bring closure to projects in a quality and timely manner;
- Strong listening, speaking, and presentational skills;
- Ability to identify opportunities to promote Columbia’s brand;
- Ability to interact effectively cross-functionally with all levels of University personnel;
- Advanced degree is desirable.
