Our company is looking for a Associate Director, Communications to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of public events to promote departments (Food Fight, Room Selection, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and some weekends are required;
  • Strong writing skills with solid experience in delivering messages to diverse audiences;
  • Solid knowledge of technologies (desktop publishing, graphic software, presentational software);
  • Strong editing skills;
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques used in public information campaigns, branding, and marketing;
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience required;
  • Proven ability to bring closure to projects in a quality and timely manner;
  • Strong listening, speaking, and presentational skills;
  • Ability to identify opportunities to promote Columbia’s brand;
  • Ability to interact effectively cross-functionally with all levels of University personnel;
  • Advanced degree is desirable.
