Facilities / Engineering Operations Manager 2 Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Facilities / Engineering Operations Manager 2 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage other managers; manage by walking around (rounding); Staffs, trains, and is responsible for employee development;
- Oversees and coordinates projects;
- Manages QA and Safety;
- Client interface;
- Manages mechanicals (i.e. HVAC);
- budgetary oversight on some services;
- Manages work orders/CMMS;
- payroll oversight;
- Develop strong partnership with client through trust, actions and results;
- Provide strategic direction for maintenance team including performance reviews, staffing, and vendor management;
- Manage operations, maintenance and capital improvements of all Life Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Building systems;
- Assist in preparing and executing annual property budgets;
- Report project status (safety, cost, schedule, and quality) and issues/problems to management;
- Foster a culture of proactive behavior by inspecting buildings and all related infrastructure for preventative repairs.
Requirements:
- Responsible for project management and the facilities department with oversight of approximately hourly employees;
- Overseeing and plan all snow removal;
- Schedule work orders and preventive maintenance with follow through on staffs work;
- Assign and coordinate job tasks.
