Our company is looking for a Risk Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple complex business projects simultaneously to completion;
  • Manage relationship with assigned internal divisions and/or business units and assist them with Risk Management needs;
  • Preparing (positive marketing) specifications and underwriting information for presentation to underwriters;
  • Acting as a liaison with insurance brokers, insurance carriers, and outside business partners as needed;
  • Visualize, conceptualize, and develop Strategic vision, direction, and design for Issues Management;
  • Negotiating policy renewals, premium and coverages on assigned policy load and maintaining administration of insurance programs throughout the year;
  • Facilitate multiple sessions with Suppliers, Strategic Sourcing, Internal Verizon business owners, and risk experts to drive open issues to closure;
  • Providing assistance in dealing with complex claims issues affecting the company;
  • Conducting analyses on business processes and control environments, and programs;
  • Establish and maintain working relationships and engagement models with technology and risk and compliance teams;
  • Managing multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines;
  • Managing and leading internal audit, internal control and risk management engagements for our Technology, Media & Telecommunications clients;
  • Understand the current supply chain security programs at Microsoft;
  • Create executive presentations together and update team on status of workstreams/projects;
  • Drive initiatives tied to Supplier Security across various teams.

Requirements:

  • Proficient experience in working with RMIS systems and Microsoft Excel is required;
  • BS/BA in Cybersecurity, Supply Chain, Risk Management, Business or related experience;
  • 4 years of experience in risk, compliance or governance role;
  • 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients;
  • Proficient with Tableau reporting software;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience;
  • High sense of urgency with ability to drive results;
  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Management, Risk Management, Supplier Security, Supply Chain, Cybersecurity or related role;
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word;
  • Excellent knowledge of P&C insurance policy terms and conditions;
  • Strong writing skills;
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills;
  • Process Development;
  • Knowledge of finance, economics, accounting, consumer credit, and collections;
  • Ability to identify and understand business issues and translate these issues into quantitative questions.
