Our company is looking for a Sr. Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong proficiency in developing in house systems and vendor packages;
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Analyze, design, code, test, document, and assist with implementation of enterprise-scale applications to meet the business needs;
  • Administers, maintains, develops, and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of internally developed applications;
  • Optimize, tune, and utilize best practices in existing applications to enhance application performance;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Strong proficiency in Payment and Tax regulations;
  • Train and mentor more junior Developers;
  • Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes;
  • Work closely with back-end, front-end developers and DevOps;
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs to meet specifications;
  • Reliability and proficiency in verifying and deploying programs and systems;
  • Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals;
  • Will assist in mentoring more junior team members;
  • Build a test automation framework and integration of this framework into CI/CD process.

Requirements:

  • IBM utilities;
  • 10 plus years’ experienceprogramming with Cobol;
  • Including knowledge of JCL;
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude coupled with focus and follow-through;
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to recommend and execute improvements;
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture;
  • Strong persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills;
  • Ability to work on all phases of complex application assignments;
  • Self-driven;
  • Excellent communication skills needed to gather and evaluate user feedback;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
  • Deadline and closure oriented;
  • Commitment to optimization and accountability evident in creating technical documentation for reference and reporting;
  • Proficiency in a variety of software tools and languages.
