Our company is looking for a Pricing Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Present training to Program Sales and other groups as requested on best practices with respect to pricing large opportunities;
- Additional Sales Department responsibilities as directed;
- Negotiate with customer for ACR and other related issues as needed;
- Manages vendor fees and processes vendor bill backs according to assigned deadlines including mailing and processing back-up;
- Assigns and creates new Vendors and Broker. Maintains, audits and updates Vendor master file and information;
- Maintains and manages special pricing for assigned customers;
- Exceptional organizational skills and must be able to follow processes;
- Responsible for compensation to customer for Rework / Build-out, and as directed;
- Assists in vendor and broker set-up in Vendor Portal;
- Prepare yearly budget requirements;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Prints and reviews exception report for possible allowance errors and non-matching purchase orders for allowance discrepancies;
- Provide required support for coordinated effort among pricing group to help maintain harmonious customer relations;
- Prints and distributes authorized price lists weekly, bi-weekly, monthly accounts;
- Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills.
Requirements:
- 2 years pricing experience;
- Exhibits leadership skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, reporting);
- Dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management;
- Proficient in Microsoft Access;
- Strategic thinker able to identify winning themes and solutions;
- Technical sales experience;
- Bilingual skills in Japanese a plus;
- Must demonstrate ability to solve problems, coordinate schedules to meet customer due dates;
- B.S. or B.A. Degree preferred;
- SAP system experience required (SAP);
- 5+ years business experience in pricing administration, customer service, accounting;
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing, Excel spreadsheets, database reporting, Internet & email;
- Bachelor’s degree.
