Manufacturing Engineer Intern Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Scan and archive electronic version for executed FAT protocols;
- Review executed FAT protocols for completion and GDP compliance;
- Create automation tools for to schedule and tracking validation deliverables;
- Prepare customer validation packages for FAT execution;
- Create graphic presentations for KPIs and issue analysis;
- Work with cross-functional business groups to schedule customer FATs;
- Conduct a 5S event or participate in a Kaizen event;
- Actively learn principles of production and manufacturing of product;
- Design assembly tooling and fixtures;
- Documentation of production line processes;
- Improve productivity by performing ergonomic evaluations, time studies, simulation, and line balancing;
- Assist Sr. Engineers with execution of tasks and assignments;
- Create standard work for modules within Concept (routings, bom logic, bom item logic, etc.);
- Manages small projects as assigned;
- Standard Work Concept Programming Observe and work with concept Subject Matter Expert.
Requirements:
- Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher;
- Excellent organization and time management skills;
- Have excellent writing skills;
- Knowledge of PC/Software;
- Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering at an accredited school;
- Working environment – Normal office and manufacturing facility conditions with extended periods of sitting or standing;
- Ability to work independently and show strong initiative and ownership of ideas and projects;
- Ability to collect and document process data (time studies, quality data, etc.);
- Experience using standard test and measurement equipment;
- Assist Sr. Engineers with execution of tasks and assignments;
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at an accredited college or university;
- Willingness to work in hands on production environment;
- Ability to handle simultaneous and sometime challenging tasks;
- Excellent computer skills; strong oral and written communication skills;
- Standard Work Concept Programming Observe and work with concept Subject Matter Expert.
