Quality Control Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Quality Control to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits of packaging, picking, and shipping to ensure the workforce is meeting Best Practice compliance;
- Maintain and execute daily inventory adjustments;
- Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs;
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and client groups;
- Process computer-based reports and forms. Document all data related to Quality Control and Inventory Control inspections;
- Compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in inventory;
- Assist team to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition;
- Must be organized, observant, attention to detail and have good subjective decision-making skills;
- Read a quality control list;
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM;
- Make line adjustments as needed;
- Responsible for ensuring that food products meet standards set by both their companies and regulatory authorities;
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced;
- Inspecting food products for quality assurance;
- Ability to wear safety gear while working.
Requirements:
- Ability to clearly read/listen and understand work instructions;
- A high school graduate with 3 years’ experience Quality Inventory Control;
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset and collaborative attitude;
- Team focused with supreme interpersonal skills;
- You are consistently compliant with Amazon processes and Terms of Service;
- Knowledgeable in NetSuite software systems, ERP systems, Database software, Inventory software, and Microsoft suite;
- Ability to move and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds;
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time;
- 1 to 5 years Manufacturing Experience Preferred;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment;
- Must be a fast learner, driven and self-motivated; strive towards continuous improvement;
- Must have a positive “can do” attitude and a sense of accountability; takes initiative;
- Prior experience preferred, but willing to train;
- Ability to follow instruction and be able to work with little supervision;
- College Degree: AS and/or BS Degree in a Technical Discipline Preferred.
