Our company is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs;
- Monitors and tracks effective cleaning practices of Sanitation and Production;
- Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams;
- Understand and follow up on GMP;
- Respond to any questions on quality and investigate any quality issues;
- Address any FDA issues and audits;
- Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures;
- Review and approve the documentation setting forth the basis for supplier qualification;
- Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives;
- Inspect any returns and compile repot on findings;
- Facilitate review, revision, and approval activities of QC documents ensuring both internal and external systems comply with regulatory requirements;
- Function as lead for stability, method qualification and validation programs. Develop, review and approval procedures, protocols and reports;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Manage operating cost for outsource testing as required;
- Track and document all Quality Control activities such as stability, reference standard inventory, method validation status.
Requirements:
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastic injection molding industry;
- Minimum five years experience in a quality control function, with experience in directing/supervising others;
- Experience with CMM/Rexcan;
- Enhance customer and supplier relationships through appropriate communication, documentation, problem-solving, and follow-up;
- Working knowledge utilizing ERP system, preferably JobBOSS and usage of Microsoft Office Suite;
- A bachelor degree in an engineering discipline is required;
- Solid Works or CATI;
- Lead Corrective Action Activities if there are any active issues in the manufacturing process, customer concerns and/or excess scrap;
- Advance Product Quality Planning and PPAP experience;
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and calibrations;
- SPC software;
- Conduct Quality Management activities;
- Working knowledge of Quality Assurance, metrology principles and well-versed in NADCAP, ISO and AS9100;
- Knowledge of the materials, products, and the commodity assigned areas of specialization;
- Blueprint reading, engineering drawings and process specifications interpretation skills are strongly preferred.
