Senior QA Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of scalable automation;
- Coordinate testing with offshore QA team;
- Define and implement various test strategies across multiple teams;
- Participate on contract organization project teams as required;
- Participate in internal audits and ensure that related follow-up activities are performed;
- Prepare QA members team to execute test cases as per the release plan;
- Drive effective and timely execution of test cases through tools and automation;
- Troubleshoot potential software issues, look for workarounds, and deliver this information to our internal team members in a clear and concise manner;
- Support electronic quality system implementations;
- Perform activities related to Quality events such as change controls, deviations, and CAPAs;
- Review batch records and data in support of drug substance and drug product release activities;
- Receive reports of production bugs and quickly take action to investigate or resolve;
- Learn and master the inner workings of a full enterprise product suite;
- Develop & implement automated test plans;
- Assist in the development of training programs.

- Knowledge of technologies like: BitBucket, Crucible, SonarQube, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, uDeploy;
- Test automation experience using SOAPUI and Selenium;
- Strong experience in implementing test automation for API, Micro Services using tools like SoapUI, Service V, Jmeter etc;
- Understand integration, customization, performance and security/compliance requirements with AWS and other cloud providers;
- BS and five years’ experience in computer science or related subject matter/experience- Minimum 5 years of QA experience;
- Proven experience in implementing Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, RestAssured, Robot and other commercial/open source test automation frameworks;
- 2+ years of hands with Java/Groovy , Python ,SQL and other scripting languages;
- 3+ years of test automation experience;
- Familiar with Test Data Management and Test Environment Management processes.
