Responsibilities:
- Keeps all areas in bakery clean;
- Ensures quality of all products in bakery meet company standards;
- Ensures pricing and expiration dates are accurate;
- Provide exceptional customer service;
- Bakes specific products for bakery department;
- Adheres to all Food Safety & Sanitation guidelines and preparation methods, as per company policy;
- Maintains showcases.
Requirements:
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction);
- Sound judgement/decision making skills;
- Friendly, approachable and outgoing demeanor/team player;
- Effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment; takes initiative;
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery;
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching;
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed;
- May require use of ladders;
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
- In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours;
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals;
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
