Lot Attendant/Porter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lot Attendant/Porter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles;
- Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards;
- Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot;
- Thoroughly clean (wash, vacuum and polish) and maintain all vehicles;
- Install disposable covers and floor mats in vehicle interiors being serviced;
- Delivers vehicles to sites and locations as required;
- Occasionally wash and detail vehicles;
- Self-starter with ability to work well as part of a team or independently;
- Must be willing to work weekends;
- Detail new an used vehicles;
- Drive vehicles to and from sublet vendors, repair bays, and parking lot as needed;
- Keep new-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards;

- Confident with an outgoing personality;
- Reliable transportation to and from work;
- Effective communication, organizational and time management skills;
- Motorcycle endorsement required.
