Painter – 2nd Shift Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Painter – 2nd Shift to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Taking environmentals, checking surface profiles and what would be a few tools of the trade;
- Trouble shoot functional issues with product;
- Perform safety and housekeeping tasks;
- WFT sampling;
- Safely operate jib and overhead crane equipment;
- DFT sampling;
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks;
- Operating hand and power tools;
- Use these types of tools to paint. Banana gauge, Testex tape, Elcometer DFT tester, environmental testing equipment;
- Interact with Engineering, Quality, and customer representatives.
Requirements:
- 40 to 100 pounds of force occasionally with assistance of machinery or others to move objects;
- 10 to 40 pounds of force frequently, may include pushing, pulling and lifting;
- Ability to stand on concrete for 10+ hours per shift;
- Basic Math and mechanical skills are essential;
- Ability to understand and closely follow written procedures;
- Ability to communicate with multiple interactions;
- Must be capable of operating jib cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
