Our company is looking for a Forklift Driver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs warehouse verification and consolidation;
- Unloads and stacks material by using lifting device;
- Works with manager to ensure proper order management and planning to meet quality and OTD;
- Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy. Reconciles inventory discrepancies;
- Must be able to document information as per SOP;
- Scanning products with RF scanner;
- Put-away picking;
- Stowing in Bays;
- Entering inventory data into computer system;
- Shipping and delivery to line side where applicable;
- Verify computations against physical count of stock;
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment;
- Locating product within the warehouse facility;
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft;
- Pulling orders.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in a hot environment;
- Must be able to pass a drug test;
- Prior forklift experience is preferred;
- Stocking, packing and unpacking goods;
- Detail oriented;
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Safety glasses-in designated areas;
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, warehouse environment;
- Must have basic math skills;
- Must be able to work with frequent interruptions;
- Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with a wide range of personalities;
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors;
- Ability to Lift 30-50lbs repetitively;
- 1-3 years related experience in warehouse.
