Truck Driving Position

CDL Class A Truck Driver
Opus Packaging - Florence is a premier packaging company and supplier of corrugated products. We are currently searching for a CDL Class A Truck Driver for our Florence, SC location. As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you can expect to safely transport products from our production facility to customer locations in a professional, and timely manner in coherence with promoting corporate vision, mission statement, and core values. Our drivers ensure that the customers' orders are handled according to the Quality Policy.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid Class A CDL for interstate commerce.
Must have 2 full years of driving experience with a Class A CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Work safely and attend all safety training.
5-7 years of driving experience with a Class A CDL.

During a normal workday you can expect to:
Process customer orders to achieve corporate goals.
Operate distribution services in compliance with procedures and standards.
Obtain cross-functional abilities within the manufacturing/shipping environment.
Maintain tractor and trailer vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
Coordinate production activities with purchasing, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
