Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg - Weekend Nights

Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Telemetry
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift – 3x12 Hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Weekends and holidays included.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including those with cardiac conditions, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal issues, general surgery, and orthopedics.
Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care, monitoring patient conditions and vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments, including insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide patient education and emotional support.
Float to similar acuity units as needed based on patient census.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current and active RN license.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.
At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience, preferably in a Med-Surg or telemetry setting.
Experience with insulin and heparin protocols, as well as IV medication administration.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment alongside RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and other support staff.
