Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Must be a licensed nurse in California.
The LVN will report to the Director of Nursing (DON) and work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and other departments to provide optimal individualized nursing care for residents in skilled nursing facilities.
Good physical and mental health.
Ability to perform manual skills required for patient care including walking, bending, and lifting.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong assessment skills and resourcefulness in emergency situations.
Team player with respect for colleagues and sensitive to confidential information.
Foster positive working relationships with patients, visitors, and staff.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications to compile and analyze data effectively.
Conduct individualized patient assessments based on immediate needs and notify appropriate personnel of abnormal findings.
Develop and implement patient-centered care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer treatments as ordered by the physician in a timely manner.
Document assessment findings, nursing interventions, and patient responses effectively.
Respond to emergencies and initiate resuscitation measures per protocols.
Maintain patient confidentiality and deliver non-discriminatory care.
Complete annual education requirements and maintain regulatory compliance.
