CNC MACHINISTS - FULL TIME
$28 - $35 per hourStaffmark
CNC Machinist- Swiss Setup Hours: full time
Pay Range: $28-35/hr depending on experience
Job Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type Lathes for production runs
Program parts using G-code and/or CAM software
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks
Debug and optimize programs to improve cycle time and reduce scrap
Select and install tooling, offsets, and machine paraments
Troubleshooting machining issues and resolve production problems
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure part quality meets specifications
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on process improvements
Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are in proper working condition
Job Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience with CNC machining
- 2+ years of experience with Swiss Machines
- Proficiency in G-code programming and editing at the machine
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Experience with prevision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
- Experience machining tight-tolerance, high-volume components (aerospace)
- Must pass a federal background check
- Must pass a federal drug test
