Description:Provide direct patient care under the scope of Registered Nurse.Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record system.Manage medications using PYXIS.Be prepared to float to other Medical Surgical units when necessary.The unit has a 20-bed capacity.The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1.Wear Caribbean Blue or White scrubs.Tops and bottoms must be in the same color.White or black undershirts and jackets are acceptable.Participate in general orientation and departmental training.Completion of EPIC training is required.Departmental orientation lasts 1-2 shifts.Cancellations may occur up to 24 hours prior to the start of an assignment.
