Attorney - Part Time, Remote

Role Overview Apply hands-on technology transactions experience to improve how advanced AI systems read, interpret, and negotiate commercial contracts. In this part-time contracting role you will perform redlining and simulated negotiations, evaluate AI outputs against real-world legal standards, and help build rigorous evaluation frameworks that train and refine AI legal judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises focused on technology agreements.
Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing detailed expert feedback to improve model accuracy and risk identification.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to measure AI performance on contract tasks consistently and rigorously.
Contribute to and refine contract redlining workflows used to train and evaluate state-of-the-art AI models.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
Qualifications
Required: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Required: Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Required: Minimum of 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions, with direct experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
Required: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical ability to translate legal judgment into actionable feedback for AI systems.
Required: Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments, and a demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
Preferred: Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
Preferred: Experience at a corporate law firm in M&A or fund formation for private equity firms.

Compensation
~ Pay rate: $80.00 to $105.00 per hour.

Eligibility
Candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of three years in-house technology transactions experience, including negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
