Why Your Insurance Verification Skills Matter Most You're not just answering phones - you're our revenue protection specialist and patient financial counselor. As our front desk receptionist, your precision with insurance verification directly impacts both patient experience AND our clinic's financial health. We're specifically looking for someone who excels at resolving insurance and billing challenges while maintaining high patient satisfaction.
Your ability to accurately verify coverage, explain costs clearly to patients, and ensure clean claims will be your most valuable contribution.
Meticulously verify coverage BEFORE services are provided, prevent claim denials, and maximize revenue capture
Excel at Financial Counseling: Confidently explain costs, billing processes, and insurance complexities to patients in a way they understand
Solve Billing Problems: Proactively identify and resolve insurance discrepancies and billing issues before they impact revenue

This Role is Perfect for You If: You have experience with insurance verification and medical billing (non-negotiable!).
You've worked as a Medical Receptionist , Administrative Assistant , or in any Customer Service role in a medical office setting.
You're tech-savvy with medical billing software and EMR systems.
You have excellent problem-solving skills and can find billing solutions that work for both patients and the clinic.
You maintain a positive attitude even when dealing with challenging financial conversations.

The Details: Schedule: Part-Time with flexible shifts (some evenings/weekends)
High school diploma preferred; X-Ray Tech, Medical Assistant or related certification is a plus

The anticipated pay range for this position is $17-19 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
