Radiographer, Full Time Nights - Radiology

Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - New Plaza West Tower (main level) $5,000 Sign On Bonus for eligible candidates
Position Details 4 days per week (36 hours)
Overnight Shift: Monday - Thursday (7:30pm - 5am)
In-house patients & OR
Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently
Occasional time in the Operating Room (OR)
Portable exams and other tasks assigned by the department
Work independently in the emergency room (ER)
Siemens equipment in our ED and a combination of Samsung and Carestream portables
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
