Production Welder (Temp to Perm job)

AC Corporation is looking for an experienced Welder to join our Fabrication team in Raleigh, NC.

This is a hands-on welding and fabrication position for someone who enjoys building things and takes pride in quality work. You'll use MIG, TIG, and Stick welding while working with a variety of metals to fabricate custom equipment and components.

This isn't a production-line welding job. Our welders work from drawings, take measurements, cut and form material, and help build products from start to finish.

Read blueprints to create cut list and material needed.

Pull material from stock

Cut, bend, fit and tack

May use forklift to move material

Potentially up to 25% travel

Must have at least 2 years of TIG/MIG welding (stainless steel & aluminum a plus)

Must have worked in a sheet metal shop

Soldering, Brazing experience

Must have at least 2 years of metal fabrication experience

Ability to safely wear required PPE, including welding helmet, safety glasses, hearing protection, and protective gloves
