MIG Welders Wanted - Get Ready to Make Sparks Fly

Looking for Welder and Fabricator jobs in Carol Stream where your welding skills help build quality products? This opportunity lets you apply your craftsmanship to fabricate, join, and repair metal components while supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations. You will perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core processes. This opportunity is based on a Welder career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.
Experience performing MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metals.

• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
• 1-5+ years of welding experience (varies by role)
• Proficiency in one or more welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred.

Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial.
Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
