Provide exceptional service by supporting the restaurant team in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming dining experience for every guest. Buspersons play a critical role in maintaining restaurant flow by anticipating operational needs, supporting Servers and Food & Beverage leadership, and ensuring dining areas are prepared for each guest throughout service.

Hourly Rate: $24.25
The following are specific contributions that must be developed during the training program in order to successfully perform this role with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly according to restaurant standards.
• Support Servers, Food Runners, Bartenders, Hosts, and leadership to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
• Maintain awareness of restaurant flow and proactively assist in preparing tables for incoming guests.
• Replenish service stations with silverware, glassware, linens, condiments, ice, coffee supplies, and other operating supplies throughout the shift.
• Assist with food running, beverage delivery, and other operational support functions as business needs require.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, guest walkways, and designated back-of-house areas.
• Communicate effectively with restaurant leadership regarding guest requests, operational concerns, equipment issues, or supply shortages.
• Support banquet functions, special events, and other Food & Beverage operations when business demands require.
• Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and teamwork during high-volume service periods.
• Comply with attendance expectations and maintain schedule flexibility based on operational needs, including weekends, holidays, AM shifts, PM shifts, and varied schedules.
• Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant.
• Work collaboratively and willingly support teammates.
• Take initiative and remain productive throughout the shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Food & Beverage experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

• Ability to anticipate operational needs and prioritize multiple tasks throughout service.
• Ability to safely handle trays, dishware, glassware, and restaurant equipment.
• Ability to maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry trays, bus tubs, and restaurant supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Servers, Hosts, Bartenders, Culinary, Stewarding, and restaurant leadership.
• Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style when interacting with guests, supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
