Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of full-time Mortgage Loan Originator at our Albuquerque, NM location.

This is a fully commissioned position with a draw. Draws are minimum wage rates based on work location. Individuals will be required to develop leads and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders, and respond to referrals from branch personnel and others. Additionally, candidates should have an understanding of the mortgage regulations and processes as well as other bank products and services in order to deepen relationships with customers. Applicants must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, exercise independent judgment and comprehend complex instructions, technical and financial materials and forms related to assigned duties. Develop, lead and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors and builders.

Interview mortgage loan applicants.

Take loan applications from customers.

Assist in obtaining additional data or information when requested by processors.

Cross-sell all bank products and services.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience, MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
