Part Time Evening HVAC Instructor

Refrigeration Instructor (Evening)
At JEVS Human Services, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team at our Orleans Technical College as a Refrigeration Instructor. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating.
Provide instruction, as specified in the curriculum, in the basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating
Provide testing of students' knowledge of theory
Prepare curricula materials
This position is part-time, 2 evenings per week, 5:30pm-10:15pm. Part-time instructor pay rate is $32.50.
3+ years experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial systems; experience working with heat pumps, gas and oil-fired furnaces, ductwork, radiant heat, etc.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and heating theory is a must
- Must have experience soldering and brazing
