Client is located in a beautiful coastal region, offering a variety of outdoor activities. The assignment details focus on a MedSurg Neuro and Stroke unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:7. Every other weekend, holidays, and floating within the contract are required. Candidates must work two of the three winter holidays. The facility seeks an individual who is comfortable with patient ratios and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Fit testing history impacting patient care may eliminate a candidate from consideration. Candidates should be prepared for EKG testing, as it is mandatory for the role. Candidates must ensure proficiency in accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and telemetry monitoring. The unit views interdisciplinary support as essential for optimal patient care. This opportunity is suitable for RNs experienced in acute care settings with specialties in neurology or stroke care.
