This opportunity is available exclusively to Active‑Duty Service Members approved to participate in the Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge Program.

Responsibilities

Gain familiarity with local protocols and participate in patient care in a high‑volume EMS system with great educational and onboarding support

Get a jump start on field training and onboarding within our organization with the goal of future employment

Focus on the clinical portion of the role and utilize your full scope of practice as a Paramedic

Provide pre‑hospital 911 emergency care and/or inter‑facility transportation for injured and/or ill patients within ABC EMS Protocols

Document and maintain accurate medical records for patient encounters through use of ImageTrend Elite

Qualifications

New Mexico Paramedic license required (reciprocity easily obtained from another active state license)

Must have current ACLS and BLS through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross

Must be up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses

Must obtain medical examiner certification/DOT certification as part of onboarding
