Must-Have: Telemetry experience is required.
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias experience is necessary.
Description:
Position requires RN with Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience.
The start date for this position is as soon as possible.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.
Candidates must have experience reading telemetry strips.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
BLS certification is required.
The clinician may float to meet facility needs if necessary.
Locals and pending licenses are accepted for submission.
Candidates with prior experience as a charge nurse will be considered.
Candidates should have experience with computerized documentation, specifically Epic.
Staff will care for patients of varying diagnoses, requiring medical-surgical to intermediate level care.
Special procedures may include management of cardiac drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, and non-invasive respiratory management.
The unit supports interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
Travelers may be required to float within the facility as needed.
Refusal to float may result in contract cancellation.
All candidates must provide documentation of experience and certifications as required.
