Job Description:

Seeking a qualified Interventional Cardiologist to provide STEMI call coverage and inpatient consults. Coverage is needed from 7:00 AM on 06/29/2026 to 7:00 AM on 07/06/2026. The role involves managing interventional cardiology procedures, overseeing STEMI cases, and providing consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients. The candidate should be comfortable with general cath lab procedures, working with a team of 7 RNs and 8 techs, and supporting two full-time interventional cardiologists. Orientation is preferred the day before the start date, with timing dependent on familiarity with Meditec. Practice type is inpatient with no supervision required of other healthcare providers; other cardiologists will be present during the assignment. The cath lab has 3 exam rooms and 2 cath labs. All procedures are ER-based, with locum volume varying from none to a few cases weekly.
