Temp-Phlebotomist Tech

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join their team. The primary responsibilities include performing phlebotomy and specimen collection, conducting waived lab testing under CLIA guidelines, and managing logistic and compliance tasks.

Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, ensuring proper patient identification and blood bank banding.
Execute waived lab testing under CLIA guidelines and manage the processing of in-house and reference lab orders.
Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functional.
Maintain precise accessioning logs, equipment records, and quality assurance checklists.
Comply with OSHA standards, Universal Precautions, and hazardous material disposal protocols.
High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ Year of Phlebotomy Experience
• License from an accredited school of phlebotomy is preferred

Proficiency in phlebotomy and laboratory operations.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to compliance and quality standards.
This position requires working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
