Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Overview Salary: USD115000 - USD140000 per year + Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Addiction Medicine (MAT) Join an outpatient addiction medicine team providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with substance use disorders. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a blend of in-person and telehealth services. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe and manage MAT medications, including buprenorphine and naltrexone. Administer intramuscular medications as needed. Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and peer support specialists to coordinate patient care. Educate patients on recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy lifestyle changes. Maintain accurate documentation within the EHR and ensure compliance with HIPAA and controlled substance regulations. Utilize crisis intervention techniques when necessary. Provide care in a walk-in outpatient clinic and conduct telehealth visits when not seeing patients on-site. Travel to a nearby clinic one day per week to provide coverage. Shift Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM One Saturday per month on a rotating schedule Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Strong communication and clinical assessment skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Two or more years of Physician Assistant experience preferred.
