Performance Responsibilities

Receives the public, school personnel, and others in an efficient and invitational manner.

Responsible for sorting mail and packages for distribution to appropriate department or personnel.

Update and maintain employee mailboxes throughout the school year.

Responsible for the preparation of documents assigned by the Principal.

Receives incoming calls and dispatches them appropriately.

Provide customer service for the general public, as well as students, teachers, staff, and other district personnel.

Maintain printouts of activities/meetings and important details of events at the front desk.

Manage parent volunteers for front desk; recruit, schedule, train, and oversee daily volunteer task. Maintain spreadsheet for work schedule.

Generate student work permits in the State of Ohio website system, as required.

Manage and utilize the lobby door entrance security access system at front desk (ALPhone).

Maintain and utilize Lobbyguard system for guest visitor badge.

Issue elevator key(s) to students and staff as needed and maintain a log system for keys.

Responsible for working open house night and one parent teacher conference.

Update and assign display cases to teacher/staff; maintain log and key checkout list.

Assist other departments as needed; including filing when requested or needed.

Other duties as assigned.
