HR Generalist Temp, fully remote

Cretex Medical is a leading contract manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for the medical device industry. Our customers view us as a trusted partner in the areas of injection molding, laser processing, metal stamping and device assembly. The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in driving business performance by partnering closely with leaders and employees. This position supports our Cretex Medical Component and Device Technologies group at our Brooklyn Park facility. Daily, in-person collaboration is essential to success in this position, and this role is not eligible for hybrid or remote work. In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute across the employee lifecycle—onboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and wellness—while helping leaders navigate people-related decisions with confidence and care.

Build strong, trusted partnerships with business leaders and employees through consistent onsite presence

Lead and support HR initiatives both locally and in collaboration with the corporate HR team

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead more complex HR process enhancements

Effectively resolve employee relations issues using sound judgment and empathy

Facilitate new-hire check-ins and ongoing employee touchpoints

Provide orientation and onboarding support for new hires

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or an active HR certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP)

Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years of Employee Relations Experience

Demonstrated knowledge of state, local, and federal employment laws and regulations

Proven experience consulting on a wide range of employee relations matters

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

Ability to travel up to 10% to the Dassel facility

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range .
