Teller/Client Service Rep

Build member relationships through quality service experiences
Answer member questions in a knowledgeable, professional manner
Perform cash-handling and teller transactions
Maintain knowledge of core systems and CCU products and services
Present and explain beneficial products and assist members with financial needs
Perform file maintenance and account changes
Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals
Investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions
Assume responsibility for other assigned projects or duties

Requirements

Strong communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Confidence promoting appropriate products and services

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Technical aptitude and experience with Microsoft programsl>

Basic math skills

Cash handling and customer service experience preferred

Flexibility to work in any Chemung and Steuben County branches required

High school diploma or GED required

Associate degree or other form of secondary education preferred

Prior teller or customer service experience preferred but not required

Ability to read and comprehend moderate to advanced instructions and correspondence

Ability to write moderate to advanced professional correspondence

Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations

Ability to perform repetitive motion for lengthy periods

Prolonged standing

Ability to lift more than 15 pounds

Ability to work in a moderately loud, fast-paced environment

Regular computer use

Close vision and ability to adjust focus from close range to long range
