She Recruits is partnering with a federal contractor to identify a Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) or Psychiatrist to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) behavioral health exams for our nation s Veterans in Salisbury, Maryland.
This is a structured, evaluation-only role supporting the Veterans Benefits Administration. The position offers a hybrid schedule three days onsite and two days remote providing flexibility while maintaining meaningful in-person Veteran interaction.
If you are seeking impactful clinical work without ongoing therapy panels, medication management, or call responsibilities, this opportunity offers a focused assessment model within a predictable weekday structure.
You will conduct comprehensive, one-time behavioral health evaluations to assist the VA in determining disability claims.

Behavioral health exams are scheduled for 90+ minutes to allow thorough evaluation of conditions such as:
Review medical and mental health records prior to each exam (electronically bookmarked for efficiency)
Conduct structured evaluations in person and via telehealth
Complete electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
Dedicated administrative time is built into the schedule for dictation and documentation to preserve interview quality and clinical accuracy.

PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited doctoral or post-doctoral program
MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Basic computer proficiency
Module training is provided.
