Head of Project Management

Primary Skill: Core Project Management - communication, leadership, organization, risk management, budgeting, and problem-solving, alongside crucial interpersonal abilities like adaptability, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution to guide projects from initiation to completion successfully.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.

Planning & Definition: Defining scope, goals, deliverables, tasks, and required resources.

• Creating timelines, setting milestones, and managing monetary aspects.
• Organizing, motivating, and directing the project team.
• Resource Management: Allocating and managing project resources effectively.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identifying potential blockers, mitigating risks, and resolving conflicts.
• Serving as the central hub for communication between team members, management, and stakeholders.
• Monitoring & Control: Tracking progress, ensuring quality, and implementing changes as needed.
• Project Planning & Execution
• Structured Methodologies: Expertise in applying structured project management methods (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) to manage the full project lifecycle.
• Scope & Budget Management: Defining project scope, creating detailed project plans, and maintaining strict control over budgets and timelines.
• Process Improvement/Re-engineering: Risk, Regulatory, and Controls Management
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC) and ability to ensure all projects remain compliant.
• Controls Management: Implementing strong governance, ensuring audit readiness, and documenting controls to prevent financial and operational risks.
• RAID Management: Proactively identifying and mitigating Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID).

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Navigating across multiple lines of business and partnering with technology, legal, and compliance teams to drive decision-making.
• Preparing clear, concise status updates and presentations for senior management and project steering committees.
• Vendor Management: Coordinating with external vendors and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Data Analysis: Using data to analyze project health, measure KPIs, and evaluate process improvement opportunities.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, and internal Bank technology platforms.
• Technology Transformation: Driving adoption of new technologies (e.g., AI, cloud, digital banking platforms).
