ResponsibilitiesDetermine the appropriate welding tools and methods based on requirementsSet up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be weldedAlign components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp piecesWeld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gapsTest and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flawsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offRetirement plan with company matchTuition reimbursementStarting at $18-$22 per hourSchedule8-hour shiftAny shiftMonday to FridayOvertime availableRequirements:Proven experience as a welderExperience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsKnowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.)Deftness and attention to detailProficient in EnglishQualifications:Welding: 1 year (Preferred)Willing to train any candidate regardless of experience.
