THIS ROLE: - Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist

NorthStar is currently seeking a talented and compassionate Medical Director as we expand our leadership team with a Medical Director of Anesthesia at Inova Fairfax Hospital. We are looking for a board-certified Pediatric/Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to lead, help grow and provide services in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology at Inova Children's Heart Center. The prospective candidate will join a collaborative team of 5 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, 2 pediatric cardiac surgeons, 2 interventional cardiologists, and 2 pediatric electrophysiologists. Inova Fairfax Hospital - Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, our flagship, is synonymous with exceptional patient care and safety. Home to Inova Children's Hospital, Inova Fairfax Hospital, Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, Inova Schar Cancer Institute, Inova Neurosciences Institute, and Inova Women's Hospital, our campus houses Northern Virginia's only Level 1 Trauma Center.

Pediatric Cardiac surgical cases include the complete spectrum of pediatric heart disease for cardiac and non-cardiac based procedures except heart transplantation.

Mixed practice (pediatric/adult) with a majority of pediatric cardiac and pediatric general cases.

Other cases may include the entire spectrum of pediatric and adult surgical cases (general, ENT, ortho, neurosurgery, Ophtho, dental, urology, GE and OB).
