The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic activities, and help improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week

Pay Rate: $33.60 - $39.20 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred

Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques

Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist

Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility activities

Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist

Provide strengthening, balance, endurance, and functional mobility interventions

Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and home exercise programs

Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation

Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions

Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals
