Director of Operations:
Our client is looking for a results-driven Director of Operations to enhance growth and operational excellence in their premium specialty food retail locations within the Baltimore metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader capable of elevating the brand, promoting exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring sustainable profitability.
Implement innovative merchandising approaches and market expansion initiatives
Lead annual planning processes, including forecasting and budgeting
Oversee performance of location managers and departmental leaders
Monitor key performance indicators in quality, cost management, and safety
Implement scalable systems to support current operations and future growth
Optimize inventory turnover and maximize profitability
Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company policies
Exceed customer expectations through strategic initiatives
Maintain brand standards across all touchpoints
Director of Operations Background Profile:
10-15 years of leadership experience in multi-location retail operations
Financial management expertise, including P&L responsibility
Advanced financial acumen and business analysis skills
Experience in leading change initiatives and managing projects
Talent development and team building capabilities
Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction)
Strong business judgment and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technology
