Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC)

Manage patient care for open heart and vascular surgery populations
Conduct telemetry and stepdown patient care
Oversee chest tube and epidural management
Implement cardiac gtt management (e.g., phenylephrine, dobutamine)
Perform IV gluccomander tasks
Administer tube feedings

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC)

Active ACLS and BLS certifications
Stepdown and telemetry experience
Prior experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery populations
