The Service Representative is responsible for managing all fleet repair work orders and related administrative functions. This position ensures accuracy and timeliness in processing vendor invoices, tracking service progress, and maintaining internal communication between departments.
Parts returns
Coding vendor invoices in a timely manner for the accounting department
Interpreting and entering mechanic notes daily for field jobs & shop when needed
Summarize mechanic notes for records (cause, complaint, correction)
Deduct parts returns from open work orders as submitted to maintain accurate inventory.
Other activities as directed by the Shop and Field Supervisors with any needs they have, parts transfers, etc.
Open, process and close work orders daily and report down equipment daily.
Work with Svc Manager to keep work flowing and internal customers apprised of progress
Demonstrates solid communication, customer service skills, and verbal/written skills with all levels of company personnel and outside vendors/suppliers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with Viewpoint software is preferred but not required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
