Early Head Start Lead Teacher
$5,000 sign-on bonus

Do you have a passion to make a difference and positively impact young children and their families? At YCCAC Head Start, we are more than a daycare. We are committed to providing high-quality child care and comprehensive education, health and well-being services to children from 6 weeks to 5 years. We are now hiring a Lead Teacher to join us in our mission of creating a warm and supportive environment where children and families can thrive.
5,000 sign-on bonus payable in four installments ($1000 after completion of months 3, 6, 9 & $2000 after 1 year - external applicants only).

Partnering with families to develop child focused goals that meet individual needs.
Planning, implementing and documenting a comprehensive child development program suitable for infants and toddlers.
Building positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
Assuming responsibilities for primary caregiving to ensure continuity of care.
Coordinating the daily operations of the classroom while supervising the activities of 1 or more staff members.
Have experience working with children in a center-based setting; Be willing to work flexible hours to meet families' needs.
Must be able to pass a background check, to include DHHS and fingerprinting.
