Cycle Counter / Warehouse Inventory Analysis

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role ensures inventory records are accurate, inventory transactions are processed correctly, and inventory control procedures support both operational and financial objectives. The Inventory Control Analyst partners closely with Finance, Logistics, Operations, and IT to identify and resolve discrepancies, improve inventory processes, and support inventory audits and compliance requirements.

Investigate, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.

Monitor inventory transactions and identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and system accuracy.

Maintain overall inventory accuracy through routine audits, reconciliations, and data analysis.

Oversee the cycle count program, including scheduling, execution, reconciliation, and reporting of results.

Support and coordinate physical inventory counts, including counts required by banking institutions, external auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Review inventory movement transactions, adjustments, transfers, and variances to ensure compliance with established procedures.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Logistics, Operations, and IT to improve inventory management processes and system functionality.

Analyze inventory trends and variances and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.

Prepare inventory reports and metrics for management review.

Assist with month-end and year-end inventory reconciliation activities.

Ensure compliance with inventory control policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

The Inventory Control Analyst will work cross-functionally across the organization.

Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, MRP systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.

Understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation processes.

Language and Teamwork Required

Must be able to converse verbally and in writing using fluent English.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively without close supervision.

Ability to read and interpret the production schedule and associated documents.

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of inventory control, inventory management, warehousing, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.

Experience working within ERP/MRP and warehouse management systems required.
