Mammal Care Specialist (Part-Time)
Join a mission-driven team dedicated to connecting communities with wildlife and wild places. As a Mammal Care Specialist (MCS), you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health, wellbeing, and safety of the animal population while helping create meaningful guest experiences.
Provide daily animal care: feeding, cleaning, enrichment, training, and habitat maintenance
Monitor and document animal health and behavior
Support veterinary procedures, animal introductions, and population management
Uphold the highest standards of safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare
Experience working with wildlife in a professional care setting
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules
Full-time team members are eligible for our Animal Care Specialist Development Program, offering merit-based advancement with increased responsibility and pay.
High school diploma or equivalent (degree in a related field preferred)
Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in all weather conditions
